# How do I modify my app settings?

From the mobile app, you can modify the following things:

-    **Device Notifications** 
    - **Notify on new posts** - Indicates if you would like to receive a notification when someone creates a new post.
    - **Notify on new votes **- Indicates if you would like to receive a notification when a new vote is added for you to complete. Clicking on the notification will open the vote.
- **Attendee Settings** 
    - **Make phone number available to attendees** ****- Indicates if you would like to make your phone number publicly visible to other attendees at the convention.
    - **Make email available to attendees **- Indicates if you would like to make your email publicly visible to other attendees at the convention.
    - **Receive announcements by email **- Indicates if you would like to receive announcements via email in addition to mobile notifications.
    - **Log out button** - This will log you out of the application. If you log out you can always log back in at any time.

**1. **Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to open settings.
