# What's on my badge?

Some events may choose to use the provided PYLI Events badge template, and issue attendee badges to all event attendees.

**The Front**

The front of the badge will contain information about you, including:

1. First name
2. Last name
3. Title
4. Organization
5. Name of the event
6. Attendee type (including an identifying color)
7. A QR Code with your contact information

The **QR code** on the front contains the information you provided to PYLI during your registration to the event such as your name, title, phone, email, and organization. When networking at the event you can present this barcode to other conference attendees as a virtual business card. When scanned by a phone camera, the information embedded into this code can be added directly to the contacts of that phone.

**The Back**

The back of most PYLI Events badges will contain a barcode. This barcode can be used for:

1. Scanning into sessions
2. Scanning out of sessions
3. Registering your visit to a vendor
4. Getting fast assistance from an administrator at an event to look up your record
